शैक्षणिक पात्रता:

  1. इयत्ता 1 ली ते 5 वी: (i) 50% गुणांसह 12वी उत्तीर्ण   (ii) D.Ed/B.El.Ed किंवा समतुल्य.
  2. इयत्ता 6 वी ते 8 वी: (i) 50% गुणांसह पदवीधर   (ii) B.Ed किंवा समतुल्य.

1. Eligibility: Candidates who have completed their Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) are eligible for the exam

2. Exam Pattern: CTET is conducted in two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for candidates who want to teach classes I to V, while Paper II is for candidates who want to teach classes VI to VIII. Both papers have multiple-choice questions and are conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours. There is no negative marking in the exam.

3. Application Process: Interested candidates can apply for CTET online through the official website. Candidates need to register themselves by filling in the required details and upload the necessary documents. The application fee for the exam varies depending on the category and paper applied for, and candidates can pay the fee online through net banking, credit card, or debit card.

4. Admit Card: The admit card for CTET is issued to eligible candidates on the official website. Candidates must download and take a printout of the admit card to appear for the examination.

5. Results: The results of CTET are generally declared on the official website, and candidates who clear the examination are issued an Eligibility Certificate, which remains valid for 7 years from the date of declaration of the result.
